MANDATE

Exercise supervision and control on all economic enterprises service and activities in the Municipality of La Paz.

MISSION

1. Exercise immediate supervision and over all control on personnel who are primarily responsible for the maintenance, upkeep cleanliness of the public market, slaughterhouse and public cemetery

2. Re-assess tax due-based on volume and kind of commodities, inspect the official receipt and/or ticket to vendors and collect all other market fees and slaughterhouse fees as prescribed by the market code/authority committee in collaboration with the Municipal Treasurer’s Office.

3. Be responsible for the security & safety of the facilities under Economic Enterprises and enforce guidelines and its prohibitions as prescribed by the market committee/authority and the market code.

To improve financial and economic capability of the Municipality of La Paz Tarlac and enhance the economic and social well-being of the people to bring progress and development to the Municipality.
