Guided by the vision of “Lab for All” championed by Hon. Venustiano D. Jordan, Municipal Mayor of La Paz, Tarlac, successfully conducted the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) Serbisyo Caravan, held in Barangay Matayumtayum headed by Hon. Maximiano Academias, Jr., Punong Barangay of Barangay Matayumtayum, bringing essential government services closer to the people and reinforcing the commitment to inclusive, accessible, and people-centered governance.
The activity gathered various municipal offices and partner agencies under one venue to provide a wide range of services, including medical and dental consultations, chest X-ray and immunization services, legal consultation and document notarization, business permit application assistance, civil registry concerns, property assessment, social welfare services, employment referrals, and livelihood and skills training information.
Representing the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) was Concurrent Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) of La Paz, LGOO VII Renalyn D. Iglesias, who joined the activity in support of the Department’s commitment to strengthening local governance and ensuring that government programs effectively reach grassroots communities.
The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan serves as a testament to the government’s commitment to bringing essential services closer to the people, particularly in communities where access to government offices may be limited. Through strengthened collaboration among local government offices and national government agencies, the initiative promotes responsive governance while addressing the immediate needs of constituents.
The DILG continues to champion programs that foster inclusive development, enhance citizen participation, and strengthen partnerships among stakeholders in building peaceful, empowered, and resilient communities.
